Candle Safety is an absolute must, no matter who your candle is from.
I posted to my Instagram recently about candle burn times, and a shocking number of my customers did not know what they were! I was quite taken back by this, so I decided to write a short blog post about candle burn times!
After six years of being a professional candle maker, I'd like to think I qualify as an "expert" in this field, but always ensure to read any safety labels on your smell-related products, because each one is different!
What are "burn times", and why do they matter?
Technically, when it comes to burn times, there are two meanings (just to make things more confusing).
There's the candle's quoted burn time, which is how long the candle burns for. So for example, our Skully candle has a total burn time of over 70 hours.

What happens if you burn candles too long? Well, with any fire-related product, it's not a very safe thing to do.

Follow your burn instructions, and you'll be alright.
As outlined at the start of this blog post, burn times differ for almost every product. It's essential that you read the safety information on your candle's label. If you're ever concerned about how to get the best performance out of your RinkyDink candle, you can take a look at our product safety FAQ here. :)
